Sunday News Roundup For Self-Absorbed Americans
Believe it or not, there are other interesting and important things going on in the world besides health care reform, Michael Jackson, and the California wildfires. Here’s a summary
of some items pulled from other sources around the world to help self-absorbed Americans get a clue that they are not the center of the universe:
- Britain acts to restrict the outsourcing of skilled jobs.
- 2010 will bring a new player to the U.S. cell phone market.
- There are charges that Israel’s Mossad staged the recent hijacking of a Russian cargo ship.
- O.J. Simpson will not be freed pending his appeal.
- Venezuela threatened to break off diplomatic relations with Columbia because of Bogota’s decision to let the U.S. military use Colombian bases.
- The U.S. and Australia plan to invite China to participate in war games.
Happy Sunday.
