Boycott Glenn Beck

Over at Donklephant, the question was asked as to why Glenn Beck hasn’t been fired by now.

As I say in my comment there, he hasn’t been fired because he is making money for his sponsors and the affiliates that carry him. Beck and Limbaugh and the rest of the talking heads, left and right, are media prostitutes. They will say whatever and do whatever to make sure their ratings stay up. Once the ratings fall, it’s all over.

The real question is:

Why isn’t someone organizing boycotts against Beck’s sponsors? Whether they claim to agree with his views or not, Glenn Beck’s sponsors are enablers, because they pay for him to be on the air. They can claim they are doing nothing more than supporting free speech, and that’s okay. But that doesn’t mean I have to support them.

So, here’s the deal, and here’s the challenge: Listed below are sponsors of Glenn Beck. Let them know you won’t be buying anything they have to offer because of their sponsorship of a hate merchant. I can tell you I have taken a good hard look at the list and will have no trouble finding someone else to do business with, and I will also make sure my friends and neighbors know these companies are sponsors of hate.
